Oh yea and none of the bookmarks I had are there either. This is bullshit. Im not gonna sit here and bitch about it though. I understand things got fucked up. Im keeping this phone for now anyway because im used to it. I just want to know a coupla thing like, why is the streaming so choppy and why is it that the only real site I can watch videos from is youtube??? I borrowed my girls g1 for the 4 days I was without a phone and I was watching a bunch of videos from many sites wink wink lol! Why can't the lx have the same video download capabilities as the g1 and iphone? Cmon tmo, microsoft, whoever runs shit over there ... step the shit up already motherfuckers. If I wasent so broke I would go to the iphone. lol. And what's up with the bullshit games and apps in the store??? The g1 has better games for free in their "market".

My dum ass lost my lx 09 four days ago and just got one back in the mail. When I reactivated my sim card and signed my username back in, everything was there except for my ringtones games and apps I bought plus the twitter, myspace, facebook and gps thing that supposed to have come with it. Then, an ota update popped up and I pressed yes and still nothing and its been 7 hours now. What the fuck man! Its like im pussy whipped.

I'm slightly perturbed that this post of mine referenced above makes it seem like it's possible for everyone to get their contacts back...that post is on several websites and is giving people the false impression that all is well in my neck of the woods in terms of my Sidekick...it ain't so, and and in a few hours won't matter anyway...UPS is on their way with a new Blackberry...I'm jumping ship.

Hope you also backed them up, since SIM contacts save the name and like, one phone numner, that's it.

I was just on my phone and when I got off my phone all my contacts returned. I do not know if this will last for long but the site of my contacts returning is encouraging.

dariahna says:
The same thing happened to me...I shut my phone off several times without removing the battery...voile'! My contacts returned! :smileyhappy:

generalblue says:
Got my contacts back too! My phone froze up on me and since I have already lost everything anyways, I just took the battery out and put it back in. Once my phone was on about 5 minutes later I checked my address book for some reason and they were all there. I saved all my contacts to my simcard.

Anyone else out there have any luck?

I have yet to get any of my personal data back. I've had to rebuild my contact list, and are still struggling to do this. I've lost everthing in calendar and task application, along with my address book.

Remember "moni" on the t-mo forums? With her positive energy and shit? What a load of crap.

I'll believe it when I see it! If you've already lost everything, I guess there's no harm in turning off your phone to see if the data comes back but... I don't see how in the hell that would help. If the data's not on the server, and it's certainly not on a phone that's been hard reset/battery yanked then it's not anywhere. And according to Tmo themselves, it's not on the server. So.... how does this achieve ANYTHING?

I think it was just luck and good timing for these folks, and good for them. But it's coincidence until I see some more conclusive evidence, nothing more.
